As some of you may have heard on either social media, the news, or even a friend, the recently made movie Don’t Worry Darling was released on September 23, 2022. Since its release, it gained a lot of popularity.

The movie is a thriller/horror starring Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, Florence Pugh, and Chris Pine. With Harry Styles being on the cast, all of Styles’s fans ran wild hearing the news of him being in a film.

The film is set in the 1950s with our main characters Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) living in an experimental company town full of men working on a secret project not known by anyone else. As the husbands leave for work, the wives stay at home and live their almost perfect lives in an almost too perfect town. As time goes on, Alice starts to see her picture perfect life begin to crumble, showing the cracks into the truth of something lurking beneath the surface. 

“You know, my favorite thing about the movie is, like, it feels like a movie” Styles says, but what fans are more interested in is what’s going on surrounding the movie than the film itself. Many rumors had spread like wildfire before the movie was even released. Specific rumors such as strong tension between the actors, Harry Styles spitting on Chris Pine’s shoes and even as far as a possible affair behind the screen.

These rumors were shared all over social media stirring the question if these are actually happening. Many scurried for real evidence to support their ideas but nothing was proven to be true. Additionally, Styles and other actors even confirmed these ideas were false. 

All in all, these were all rumors. The juicy gossip that gets our hearts racing is what’s spread the most but is also the least likely to be true. Whether it were the crazy Styles fans or the cinema fanatics that over analyze the smallest details, rumors are always spread. Unfortunately, there’s always going to be people who spread the rumors and the ones who listen to them, but hopefully this article brings some advice to not believe everything you see on social media! Although it’s very tempting, it’s not worth it.
