On Friday, October, 16, 2015, the final day of Spirit Week and one of the most looked forward to days of the year took place in the gymnasium—Pep Rally, in which students were encouraged to wear blue and gold for the event.

At this year’s annual occasion, the typical Pep Rally activities ensued such as the introduction of all the fall sports teams by senior emcees Christian Buonamassa and Jake Rosenblum as well as performances by the marching Chiefs, Chiefettes, and varsity cheerleading team.

Perhaps the most anticipated moment of the whole spectacle was the part moment of the show where students and faculty get pied while raising money for breast cancer. This year, senior Frankie Rizzo was pied by Giovanni D’Agostino, which received a roaring ovation from the crowd, in addition to junior Hailey Korwan and physical education teacher Mr. Santucci.

All in all, this year’s celebration of Pep Rally will be remembered in blue and gold and its abundance of spirit.
