Nick Barbieri, Chief Copy Editor (2011-12)
Nick Barbieri, a Massapequa High School alum, was the Chief Copy Editor of The Chief for the 2011-12 school year . Excelling in all of his schoolwork, Nick still manages to remain devoted to all of his extracurricular activities. For the paper, he specialized in writing entertainment reviews, news articles, and opinion pieces that reflect his liberal background. His extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry allows his reviews to go in-depth and be fully comprehensive, resulting in a thoroughly interesting read. His work has won him an award from the Long Island Student Press Association.
