Jake Brice was my best friend, he was a true brother. Jake always knew how to make a person smile. Jake is the greastest friend you can ask for, he really knew how to help people, he always helped me, so in his memory I am having a mass said at Our Lady of Lourdes Massapequa Park November 23rd 8:30am for him.

Jake Brice: One of the strongest people that I have known. If you look up brave, strong, and caring in the dictionary, his name should be next to the word. Jake was an old friend of mine in seventh grade in Spanish class. He sat next to me one time and we could NOT stop talking to each other. When ever I had a bad day, he was always there to talk and putting me and everyone first before him. He made the class and life so much better; he taught me not to take life for granted and just to have fun, and that’s exactly what he did. In his condition, when ever it was brought up, he wouldn’t grieve about it, he would just laugh about it. It seemed like the cure of laughter was the real thing to him, cause he never stopped. Everyone loved him. No matter where Jake was you would see someone wave to him or shout out “Jake!” or “Did you see The Walking Dead or South Park’s episode?” It just goes to show that we have to make the best of what we have, and never take anything for granted. Spend every waking moment with your loved ones because, one day, God will need them back. And God,in this case, received an angel and missed Jake. He’s in a better place; we all know that. Fly high Jake and look down on us. We need you.
